Plagiarism Checker

Lite originality check for your writing: similarity score plus flagged phrases. Honest heuristics, not a full web scan — that's Pro.

Why run an originality check

Publishers, editors, and AI detectors all punish text that reads recycled. This checker finds the lazy phrases and repeated word patterns that make writing feel copied — before someone else does.

How to use it

Paste at least 100 characters. You get an originality score, a list of flagged phrases, and a rewrite recommendation. Two free checks a day; unlimited with Tools Pro.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a real plagiarism checker?

It is a lite heuristic check: it scores originality and flags overused or likely-copied phrases. A full web-wide scan requires a paid service — that level is part of Tools Pro.

What does the similarity score mean?

The score estimates how much of your text reads as unoriginal, based on repeated phrasing and common clichés. Below 20 is typically clean; above 50 means rewrite.

Does it check against the whole internet?

The free version does not crawl the web. The AI version compares against common phrasing patterns. For serious academic or professional checks you should still use a dedicated paid service.
